It will be a pianistic charter trip on special class when no less a pianist than world-famed Angela Hewitt sets out for the sunny Iberian peninsula. As artist in residence she has made a delightful impression with her Bach interpretations, among them the Art of the Fuge, but now she is bound for more southerly destinations.A selection of Hewitt’s favourite Scarlatti sonatas will be woven into this piano evening which will have considerable more of a South European temperament than our artist in residence has offered her large audience in Mogens Dahl Concert Hall before.
