Garage is a raw and beautiful venue with plenty of atmosphere and charm. It is perfect for weddings, company parties, and conferences. The space can be arranged for both standing and seated events.

The History behind

The building originally dates back to the 1950s and served as a Jaguar workshop.

In 2021, Vipp and Mogens Dahl Concert Hall renovated the building in collaboration with the two architects Frank Maali and Gemma Lalanda with respect to the old industrial area.

The building pays homage to Vipp's founder, Holger Nielsen, with a brick ceiling produced in his hometown of Randers, and it celebrates culture, gastronomy, craftsmanship, and music.

The hall was completed in 2022 and officially inaugurated in August 2022.

Where there used to be a garage for the car company Jaguar, today stands an event venue with industrial charm and edge. The raw interior creates a fantastic atmosphere, evoking a feeling that anything can happen here. The space can be arranged exactly as you wish, ensuring we establish the best setting for your event.

Garage is ideal as a venue for wedding parties, as well as for events, conferences, and company parties. Alongside either the charming cobblestone courtyard or the cozy rooftop lounge, you'll experience a top-class event. The raw steel walls and beautiful cobblestones contribute to the ambiance of old Islands Brygge, a part of Copenhagen's and Amager's history and soul.

As the day winds down, your party can move up to our rooftop terrace, located above Garage. Here, there is space for 150 guests to enjoy the view over Islands Brygge with a cup of coffee or a refreshing drink. There is also room for musical performances, whether it's an acoustic ensemble or a DJ. Additionally, the courtyard can be fully or partially covered, and pavilions can be set up if desired.
